At this time, there is no insurance coverage for medical devices.

We are actively working on ways to make Relivion accessible to as many patients as possible.

Relivion provides a gentle, comfortable electric pulse to the nerve pathways associated with inhibition of pain and suppression of the migraine storm.  Patients may feel a tingling sensation that some have compared to a head massage.

Relivion is the first and only neuromodulation device that concurrently stimulates both the occipital and trigeminal nerves, which are associated with the brain regions that inhibit pain and suppress the migraine storm.

This has shown to be highly effective in providing freedom of migraine pain and associated symptoms.

Relivion also allows for unlimited treatments, unlike many other migraine medical devices on the market.

Please see Important Safety Information to see all the contraindications.

While Relivion does not have any systemic side affects, you may experience:

  • Unpleasant sensation during treatment (for example Pressure sensation on the stimulation position).

  • Scalp numbness sensation during and after treatment (Paresthesia).

  • Persistent tingling sensation after the treatment ends.

  • Pain.

  • Nausea.

  • Skin reaction (for example irritation, lesion, burn) beneath the electrodes. In this case, treatment should be temporarily discontinued.

  • Redness of the skin under or around the electrodes. Skin redness usually disappears within several hours after treatment.

  • Sleepiness (Somnolence), fatigue, or disruption in sleep patterns.  Sedative effect during or after treatment.

  • Dizziness during or after treatment.

  • Headache/migraine.

We recommend you follow your doctor’s prescription instructions.

Treatments can be between 20-60 minutes, but should be followed per your prescription

Relivion MG is a therapy that requires a minimum of 8-12  weeks to see results. During this time, your brain’s neural pathways are being regulated through neuromodulation.

Unlike other neuromodulation devices, the Relivion MG does not have any limitations on use. It is indicated to be used during any migraine attack.

We do not recommend using the device over 80 minutes per day, as it may cause skin irritation.

Relivion is designed to be a drug-free treatment with minimal to no side effects with existing medications. However, please speak to your doctor regarding the use of your specific medications with Relivion.

If you are considering pregnancy or are pregnant, talk to your doctor about using Relivion.

It is not recommended you use the device while sleeping.

Relivion offers a wide range of intensity settings, from 1 (the lowest) to 100 (the highest). We recommend that you start at a very low level and work your way up over time.

If at any time you feel discomfort, drop your intensity level to a comfortable level and gradually increase as you build tolerance to the sensation.
